My aim as a coach is to help you achieve your goals with tailor made support and understanding.

My background is in elite coaching with national and international performance athletes, however, I now coach all levels, including Couch to 10k, weight loss and wellbeing personal training, bringing the same high standards of excellence to every client, whatever their goals or fitness levels.

My focus is on so much more than just exercise.

Your journey will motivate you and educate you in nutrition and programming.  Coaching with me will empower you to achieve your goals and become the best version of yourself.

With my tailor made gym, in the heart of the countryside, with the Lake District only a short drive away, I have all the appropriate facilities to achieve whatever your goals may be.

I charge £40 per hour for individual training.          
Group prices:                                                                           
2-4 people: £50 per hour
5-6 people: £60 per hour
I offer a discount on 10 week packages to all individual clients whatever their goals.

About Me

I have worked as a performance coach for 25 years, and am a Level 3 Personal Trainer as well as a Level 3 UK Performance Coach. I also hold mentoring qualifications, am a Strength & Conditioning Coach as well as a qualified nutrition coach. 

I’m energetic, motivated, driven and naturally ambitious. My range of qualifications enables me to provide a holistic approach to each client, looking at much more than simply training by bringing in nutrition, motivation, goals, planning and strategy to create a bespoke fitness programme that allows you to achieve your goals. 

I’m a former competitive athlete – I ran marathons and was a fell runner. I was mentored by the amazing Dave Sunderland, Olympic Coach, and I have also been sponsored by Lonsdale Sports, Hi-Tec and the Milk Marketing Board.  I feel that my competitive background feeds into my work as an athlete focused coach because I’ve been there and I know what it’s like to work towards goals and push through the pain barrier to achieve real results. 

I’ve worked with marathon runners, ultra marathon runners, triathletes and pentathletes and was involved with the Swaziland athletic team in preparation for the 2012 Olympics. I’ve coached fell runners, 800m runners and steeple chasers. 

I’m a Club Run Coach and Mentor and work with individuals or one to two as well as small groups of up to six people for run coaching.
